Lindyhop.ch is an independent information platform about and for the Swiss Swing Dance Community. We try to keep the heart of the website – the event calendar - actual and complete.
Beginners will find information about courses and training possibilities. Aficionados can discuss in the forum or write articles about parties or workshops they attended. People interested in Swing will find information about Lindy Hop and show groups performing dances from the swing era in Switzerland.
As this website should be lively and informative, your contribution is appreciated. Do you have information about an event which should be added to the calendar? You have been to a party or a workshop and want to write about it? You have taken pictures at a party and you want to share with others? You want to get into philosophic discussions about the right way to perform the “Swing out”? You are looking for a dance partner? You are visiting Switzerland and you want to know were to dance? You can find answers to all these questions on this website.
To become an active part of this forum you have to join. Under “FAQ” we describe how you become a member, add an event to the calendar, discuss in the forum or write an article about an event.

Diese Woche vor drei Jahre hat lindyhop.ch die ersten Besucher bekommen. Mittlerweile rufen viele hundert Leute regelmässig die Informationen von lindyhop.ch ab. Wir möchten diesen Geburtstag zum Anlass nehmen Euch allen herzlich für Euer Interesse, Eure Feedbacks und Eure Mitwirkung zu danken. Einen von Euch oft geäusserten Wunsch, haben wir auf heute realisiert: ab sofort gibt es auf lindyhop.ch eine Liste mit internationalen Workshops, Camps und Exchanges zum Thema Lindy Hop, Balboa und artverwandten Tänzen. Auch im Frühling 2007 kann man wieder für ein oder zwei Wochen nach Lanzarote gehen und tanzen, Sport treiben sowie faulenzen. Lehrer werden im 2007 Hasse & Marie, Bill Borgida, Gary & Sarah,Katja sowie Andy & Rena sein. Das Camp findet vom 19. bis zum 26. April statt und scheint schon zur Hälfte ausgebucht zu sein. Vom 18. bis zum 20. August findet in Amsterdam der erste Amsterdam Lindy Exchange statt. Es wird ein Weekend mit drei Parties und drei Swing Bands sein. Es gibt auch eine DJ Battle.
Exchanges sind im Normalfall reine Socialtanz Events, bei denen es vorallem darum geht Leute aus anderen Tanzszenen kennenzulernen. Lies weiter...

Möchtest Du Ende Februar die Sonne geniessen und zwischen Lindy Hop Lektionen auch mal kurz etwas surfen, dann ist La Santa das richtige für Dich. Das Camp findet zwischen dem 23. Februar und dem 2.
